We can't wait to welcome you the New Student Conference. Please review the below details carefully prior to your arrival.
NSC Schedule Overview
The in-person NSC offers a series of sessions to help you and your student prepare for the transition to Texas A&M. All students are required to create their NSC schedule in their Applicant Information System (AIS). Students will receive an email with instructions to sign up in AIS once their conference date can begin scheduling. Students will choose one of two Welcome Programs which occur at 9:30 am or at 1:00 pm. Selecting the welcome program helps guide the rest of their session selections. For all students, after the Welcome Program they will attend an Orientation Group meeting with an Orientation Leader as well as a small group of peers. During the Orientation Small Group meeting, family members and guests will attend a Family Session.
All other Day 1 sessions require students and their family members/guests to attend together. Capacities are limited for each session, therefore options will be limited based on availability. Session descriptions can be found at newaggie.tamu.edu/nscbreakout. Recordings of every session hosted at the NSC will be available after the conference.
A sample schedule for the Freshman NSC and Transfer NSC can be found on the New Aggie website.
Family & Guest Registration Reminders
ALL family members and guest attending the NSC must be registered in advance. If your student needs to add additional guests to their registration they can do so in the Applicant Information System (AIS) at applicant.tamu.edu. There is a $55 fee for any additional guests. Guests must be added to the registration no later than 7 days prior to the NSC date. There will be no onsite registration available.

Hello. Are current students still living on campus during the summer? I was curious if my student and we could visit her room during NSC? Thanks in advance for your reply.
Do we need to have a TB test prior to attending our NSC?
I have read this in some of our FB groups.
Howdy, when my son registered for the NSC, we paid for myself and we though that his dad was included already with the NSC fee. How can he knows if my husband is registered or but? He only sees my name. Thank you
Howdy. Our daughter is an incoming Freshman and my husband and I were wondering if we could add our son to attend the NSC with us?
Where can I find confirmation of our housing reservation made for our NSC?
