Howdy, Parents & Family Members!
“Howdy” is the official greeting of Texas A&M. Although the tradition’s origin is unknown, Aggies have adopted this welcome wholeheartedly. It has even earned the university a reputation as the friendliest campus in the world! From students greeting each other on campus to email greetings from Texas A&M staff, you will be sure to hear or read "Howdy" throughout your student’s time as an Aggie.
So, when you are on campus, say HOWDY to your fellow Aggies!
