Family Perspective: Aggie Family Bucket List

As you go into the school year, your family may have begun to plan opportunities to come to Aggieland and visit your student. As family members of a Texas A&M students, the Parent and Family Advisory Council has compiled a list of recommendations for Aggie Families to do while in the Bryan and College Station communities. 

  • Visit the Warehouse - The Warehouse is the largest collegiate merchandise store and has many Texas A&M items for everyone in your family! It has become a staple of the community for Aggie gear. 
  • Grab a bite to eat in Downtown Bryan - Downtown Bryan is the hidden jewel of the Aggieland community... it has shopping, great places to eat, and transforms every First Friday of the month to highlight local vendors, music, and artists. 
  • Attend Texas A&M events - Texas A&M is known for its many traditions and it is a part of what makes the university special. As a family member, you are also able to attend many of the traditions and learn what it means to be an Aggie.   • Visit Messina Hof - Messina Hof is a local winery and vineyard. It is a unique and fun experience - whether your family is wanting to do a wine tasting or have a special dinner, it is a great place for you to relax while in Aggieland. 
  • Explore the Bush Library - The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum is administered by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and is located on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The Bush Library and Museum’s archives holds more than 40 million pages of official records and personal papers documenting the life of George H. W. Bush, 41st President of the United States.
