Need a place to study?
The University Libraries have multiple options for locating or reserving study spaces:
- Study rooms are available via online reservation for individual quiet study or group collaboration and learning.
- Various study areas can be located throughout the libraries. Quiet study areas, group study areas, research study rooms, collaborative study rooms, and graduate study areas are available throughout various libraries.

Need to borrow books, equipment, movies and more?
A student’s Texas A&M ID card is their library card. A Texas A&M ID card can be used for borrowing from the University Library’s vast collections:
- The University Libraries have a feature called “Get It For Me” if students need assistance finding books or certain materials.
- Students can check out calculators, cameras, laptops, tablets and more!

Needing resources to assist with research?
There are multiple resources and services to assist with a successful research process:
- Students can utilize the University Libraries website to access multiple databases, research by subject, or view available research guides.
- Online class guides provide links to key library resources and services to help students in their research for specific classes.
- Additional resources are available to manage research like assistance with citing sources or RefWorks to increase efficiency and effectiveness of research practices.
- Students can even request to schedule a research consultation.

Need to print, scan, or copy?
There are multiple options and locations where students can print, scan, or copy materials:
- Students, Faculty and Staff may print from an OAL (Open Access Lab) computer or mobile device.
- Students receive a $30 print allocation per semester, accessible via Texas A&M ID card.
- The libraries offer several scanning and digitizing options including quick and easy book scanners and microform digitizers.
