Key Safety Resources and Support Programs
Texas A&M University Police Department (UPD)
The University Police Department is a fully accredited law enforcement agency that operates 24/7. Officers respond to emergencies, patrol the campus, and provide educational programs on crime prevention, personal safety, and emergency preparedness.
Code Maroon – Emergency Notification System
Code Maroon is Texas A&M’s emergency notification system that provides fast and accurate updates during campus emergencies. Students are automatically enrolled, and families can sign up to receive alerts by creating a guest account on the Code Maroon website.
Corps Escort Program

The Corps of Cadets offers a free nighttime escort service for students who would like someone to walk with them to a campus location. Escorts are available on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. and 24 hours a day on weekends. Hours may vary during home football games, holidays, or finals.
