University Scholarship Applications Now Open for 2025-26

The University Scholarship Application is NOW OPEN for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Available now through February 1, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (CST)

Your student must apply at uwide.tamu.edu

The application is now available for your student if they are currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or professional program. Please note the following:

  • There is no submit button for this application. Your student can log in to their application at any time before February 1, 2025, to make changes.
  • Their information will be considered submitted after the February 1 deadline, but only if there is a green "COMPLETE" bar showing under "Application Status."

If your student is planning to change their major, advise them to wait until they are officially admitted to the new major before starting the application. This is because the departmental questions are based on their official major at the time they first log into the application.

This single application will be used to award most university-administered scholarships, including:

Academic Excellence Scholarships (scholarships for continuing students)

Academic Excellence Scholarships are intended to recognize, encourage and assist currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate and professional students who have excellent academic records, participate in campus and community activities, hold leadership positions and have work experience. In some cases, financial need is also considered.

Aggie Ring Scholarships

To be considered for the Aggie Ring Scholarship program, you must answer the Aggie Ring question on the University Scholarship Application: Do you anticipate receiving your Aggie Ring in Sept. 2025, Nov.2025, or April 2026? If you have already received your Aggie Ring, you are not eligible.

College and Department Scholarships

The colleges at Texas A&M University offer scholarships for current students. Scholarships are awarded on a variety of factors, including academic merit, financial need, choice of major, leadership activities and more.

Dependent Children of Texas A&M Faculty and Staff Scholarships

This scholarship provides assistance to the dependent children of employees within Texas A&M University. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, school/employment/community activities and financial need.

Education Abroad Scholarships

There are several Education Abroad Scholarship opportunities available to both undergraduate and graduate students at Texas A&M University, ranging from $1,000 to $2,000 for one semester. Scholarships are awarded to students who display high academic performance, extracurricular involvement, leadership experience and interest in international travel and cultural studies. Apply between Oct. 15, 2024, and Feb. 1, 2025, for summer 2025 Education Abroad sessions. If your student plans to study abroad for summer 2025, they must select "yes" to be considered for scholarships.

Galveston Scholarships

Scholarships for students enrolled at Texas A&M University Galveston are also available through the University Scholarship Application.

International Student Service Scholarships

Scholarships are available to currently enrolled international continuing students through the University Scholarship Application. Scholarships typically range from $500 to $1,000 per semester.

Scholarships for Students with Disabilities

Scholarships are available for students registered with Disability Resources. Please visit the Scholarships for Students with Disabilities page for detailed information on the scholarships available to students with disabilities at Texas A&M University.

Southerland Aggie Leadership Scholarship

The J. Malon Southerland Aggie Leader Scholarship program was created to recognize and reward student involvement at Texas A&M University. The primary criteria in the decision process will be leadership and involvement. This scholarship reflects Texas A&M University’s commitment to leadership and service both in and out of the classroom. Scholarships are awarded for $1,000 per year.

Veteran/Spouse/Dependent Scholarships

General scholarships and military-affiliated scholarships are available. Awards typically range from $500 to $4,000 per year.
