The start of the Fall semester is almost here, and Texas A&M is excited to welcome your student to Aggieland! Below is information regarding move-in for on-campus living students.

First, your student will need to schedule a move-in appointment. These appointments are available between Tuesday, Aug. 19, and Saturday, Aug. 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If your student still needs to schedule their move-in appointment:

  1. Ensure that your student has completed their annual housing orientation. Students can find more information through the myHousing Portal and complete the orientation there.
  2. Schedule the move-in appointment via the myHousing Portal (note: students must complete their housing orientation before scheduling their move-in appointment).

If your student has a move-in appointment:

  • Have your student review their Resident Handbook – you can find your student’s resident handbook on the Department of Residence Life website. The resident handbook outlines important policies that your student must abide by, but it also includes information on what is/is not permitted and room dimensions. It also provides resources and information for your student as an on-campus resident.
  • Review the Transportation’s Move In/Move Out website. Transportation provides specific information for move-in days, including drop-off locations and where to park after you’ve dropped off your student’s belongings.

Your student’s meal plan begins on Aug. 21. However, Aggie Dining will have the following options available beginning Aug. 19 for Dining Dollar purchases:

  • Central Campus (MSC): Chick-Fil-A, Panda Express, and Rev’s American Grill
  • North Campus (Hullabaloo): Aggie Express and Starbucks
  • South Campus: Starbucks (Corps Quad) and Aggie Express (Commons)
  • West Campus: Chick-Fil-A, Creekside Market, Health Science Center Café, Shake Smart (Rec Center), and Vet Med
  • East Campus: Panda Express, Salata, Shake Smart, and Starbucks (Zachry)

Additional information related to move-in can be found through the Residence Life website or your student’s myHousing Portal. If you have any questions, please contact the Residence Life Housing Assignments office.
